Il ruolo di mitocondri e' stato trascurato per moltissimi decenni dalla medicina ufficiale. Solo negli ultimi trent'anni la medicina ufficiale li ha cominciati a prendere in seria considerazione.

Danni mitocondriali sono presennti in vario grado in molte patologie. Come ormai sanno tutti, i mitocondri sono" i motori" energetici delle cellule.

Senza mitocondri le nostre cellule non possono produrre energia e quindi, senza di loro, le nostre cellule non possono vivere.
